Intent

INTENT

Our MFL curriculum encourages our pupils to be global citizens by developing an understanding of other cultures and countries, instilling a curiosity and love of languages and confidence to communicate in another language other than English. We want our pupils to display tolerance and respect diversity, preparing them for the future and for their role in the society and the wider world. We aim to provide fun and stimulating opportunities for our pupils to build their confidence and knowledge and skills to recognise, read, write and speak accurately using basic words and phrases in Spanish as well as rehearse their use of language in context.
