A SPORTY WAY TO START THE DAY!
As part of our continuing drive to support our children in achieving academically but also emotionally, socially and physically, we are excited to provide sports provision once again at Breakfast Club!
Research indicates that inactive children are likely to become inactive adults which is why it's important to encourage exercise and keeping fit from a young age.
Regular exercise has lots of health benefits for children and young people, such as:
-providing an opportunity to socialise
-improving academic scores
-building a stronger heart, bones and healthier muscles
-encouraging healthy growth and development
-improving posture and balance
-encouraging a better night's sleep
Breakfast Club runs from 8-8.50am each morning. During this time children are able to join in sporting activities with our sports coach!
Please ensure children bring in a suitable jacket as most of the activities will take place outdoors unless the weather is severe.
Children will still have the option of taking part in indoor activities if they so wish.
If you wish for your child to take part in the outdoor sports please ensure that they arrive at Breakfast Club no later than 8.10am.
