World Book Day!

What a fantastic day we all had celebrating World Book Day in school! The children and staff looked absolutely fantastic in their costumes! The day began with a whole school assembly, led by the Reading Ambassadors, followed by a number of different reading for pleasure activities in class: Drop Everything and Read time, library visits, book tasting, making bookmarks, reading buddies and much more! 

The Reading Ambassadors then gave every child in school a free World Book Day book of their own to keep and take home - how wonderful!

Monday 9th February: School Community Litter pick 3.25pm - 4.00pm (meet in the school hall at 3.25pm) Thursday 12th February: Year 3/4 Sports Hall Athletics at OLSJ for those selected/ Friday 13th February: Celebration assembly at 9.10am/ Non-uniform day - cash donation for CAFOD if you are able/School closes for half term at 3.25pm.
