World Book Day!

What a fantastic day we all had celebrating World Book Day in school! The children and staff looked absolutely fantastic in their costumes! The day began with a whole school assembly, led by the Reading Ambassadors, followed by a number of different reading for pleasure activities in class: Drop Everything and Read time, library visits, book tasting, making bookmarks, reading buddies and much more! 

The Reading Ambassadors then gave every child in school a free World Book Day book of their own to keep and take home - how wonderful!

Monday 24th March: Year 2 Parent showcase at 2.45pm. Monday 24th March: Prayer leaders visit to St Bede's to deliver the Jubilee Anchor. Wednesday 26th March: Easter Bingo 3.30pm - 5.00pm (Places now fully booked) Friday 28th March: Celebration assembly at 9.10am/Mother's Day celebration Friday 28th March 2.45pm - 3.15pm.
