Class 5

Our Lady's School is a caring family, where, with Jesus in our hearts, we value everyone and encourage them to be the best that they can be.

Hello Year 5!

My name is Miss O'Dea and I am going to be your class teacher this year.

Joining us in Year 5 is Miss Seageer.

General Information

-Pick up and drop off points are on zone 5 at 8:55 and 3:25.

-Bring your book bag and reading records in every day so they can be changed throughout the week. However, we have timetabled in a slot on Friday afternoons where children can change their books and read with us.

-Our PE days this half term are Monday and Thursday. You can come into school in your PE kit. Please remember school PE kit is white and blue sports wear and suitable trainers. Please dress for the weather - shorts/t-shirt or tracksuit top/bottoms.

-Don't forget jewellery is not to be worn in school.

- Spellings are handed out every Tuesday. Children can practise them at home on Spelling Shed. A spelling test will take place the following Monday.

-Homework for learning done over the week is posted on Purple Mash on Thursdays.  Any technological issues or if you require your log in code for Purple Mash, let me know and I will be happy to help!

-Bring a water bottle into school every day to stay hydrated.

Any questions or queries that you may have, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I'm looking forward to a wonderful year with you all.

Miss O'Dea :)
