World Book Day!

What a fantastic day we all had celebrating World Book Day in school! The children and staff looked absolutely fantastic in their costumes! The day began with a whole school assembly, led by the Reading Ambassadors, followed by a number of different reading for pleasure activities in class: Drop Everything and Read time, library visits, book tasting, making bookmarks, reading buddies and much more! 

The Reading Ambassadors then gave every child in school a free World Book Day book of their own to keep and take home - how wonderful!

Monday 1st December: Elf Behaving Badly lunch / Tuesday 2nd December: Year 5 Parent Showcase at 2.45pm/Thursday 4th December: Christmas Fair - 3.30pm - 5.30pm (Year 1 & 2 after school club is cancelled) Friday 5th December: Celebration assembly at 9.10am.
